The testimony presented at the hearings, all of it by Republicans and Republican members of the Trump administration confirms that Trump knew that rioters were carrying firearms, knowing this he ordered them (by their own testimony they said they were "under orders" from their president) to March to the Capitol and fight, and when the rioting broke out he ordered his Secret Service staff, “I don’t **** care that they have weapons, they’re not here to hurt me. They’re not here to hurt me. Take the **** mags away. Let my people in. We shall see what a grand jury has to say. We shall see if a grand jury thinks Trump advocated lawbreaking. From the Republicans who testified before the 1/6 committee it's pretty clear he was advocating killing somebody. When told that the rioters were chanting " Hang Mike Pence" Trump's reaction was " He deserves it." Sounds like advocating to me.
